Founded together with B.C. Corporation in 1990, B.C. America is located in Manhattan’s Garment District. B.C. America operates as a design, merchandising, and production management studio for silk fabrications and accessories. It counts among its clientele some of the most respected, internationally renowned design houses, presenting new collections of fabrications throughout the year as well as personal consultation for custom fabric developments.

B.C. Rushan and Shengzhou B.C. were established in China in the early 2000s to meet industry demands for higher production volumes at competitive prices. They were newly designed and built specifically for the vertical manufacture of silk accessories. Their quality and workmanship are recognized as among the finest in the silk industry. Both Rushan B.C. and Shengzhou B.C. have been especially recognized by numerous independent compliance agencies as adhering to the strictest guidelines for manufacturing and supplying neckties for major retailers in the United States.

B.C. Corporation was expanded from a printing and dyeing mill to a vertical silk and silk-blended fabric manufacturer with the acquisition of the New Star Silk Company. The New Star Silk Company boasts a 30-year history as a silk weaving mill in Korea. They weave dobby and jacquard fabrics using state-of-the-art high-speed digital looms as well as vintage shuttle looms using silk of the highest available grade. New Star Silk Company is one of the only silk weaving mills in Korea still handling silk throwing, twisting, plying, warping and weaving all under one roof.
